Information can be sorted by any column simply by click on the column header.

All of the column titles as well as the screen title can be modified at any time.

The Item Category and Item Type columns are lookup fields where the entry is available at the click of a button.

The information can be filtered in a variety of ways so that only certain records can be seen.

Records can be printed and the items can be selected. Printing can be customized in a variety of ways.

Records can be imported from external data and exported for use in other programs.

Records can also be copied from one Convecto copy to another to facilitate sharing.

The Grid is also customizable in column widths, row height, fonts and row colors.

	Field Name	Description
	Item	The name of the Item
	Id Code	An identifier for this item
	Sub-Id	A further identifier to identify this item where you may have other similar items
	Item Category	The category for this item (Coca Cola, US Civil War, Rock and Roll, Art Glass, etc.)
	Item Type	The type of item (Glassware, Posters, Manuscripts, Furniture, Dolls, Sheet Music, etc)
	Item Date	The date of the item
	Cost	Price paid (can be changed to current value)
	Where Purchased	Where the item was purchased.
	Search Key	Store any important words that help identify this item. You can then use a Key word search to locate particular items later (more details on Key Searches are available in the On-Line help system).
	Condition Notes	Details on condition. Information here can be as long as necessary to describe this item.
	Historical Notes	Room for extensive notes on the history, valuation, etc.
	OLE	This item can store a variety of item types from pictures of the item to copies of invoices. Almost any type of item or file can be stored here. The On-Line help has more information on using this feature.
